Matthew D. Gilbert joined Gadsden Schneider & Woodward LLP in August 2021. Matt has more than 17 years of experience in estate planning and estate and trust administration. He assists individuals and families in creating estate plans tailored to their unique circumstances taking into account tax planning, wealth preservation and other goals. In his administration practice, Matt advises individuals and corporate fiduciaries in all aspects of estate and trust administration.
Prior to joining GSW, Matt practiced estate planning, estate and trust administration, and real estate law at a boutique law firm in Villanova, Pennsylvania. He received a B.A. and College Park Scholars Citation from the University of Maryland in 2001 and a J.D in 2004 from Temple University Beasley School of Law. Matt is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Matt is a member of the Chester County Estate Planning Council, where he serves on its Board of Directors and as an officer. Matt has also served as an instructor at Delaware County Community College in its community education program. Matt has been recognized as a “top lawyer” by Main Line Today for trust and estates (2019 – 2021).
Matt lives with his wife and two sons in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
